6. Final finishing
The last touch is polishing, applying a gold or rhodium coating and a thorough quality check. This is the moment when the decoration begins to literally shine!
5. Production
- An exact model of the decoration is created from wax on a 3D printer,
- The product is cast from the selected metal,
- The details are processed by hand,
- The stones are carefully fixed in their places.
4. Prototyping
Now it's time to print a prototype from plastic.
The prototype goes through:
- trying on,
- analysis of shape and comfort,
- refinement of the model in 3D.
And only after all checks, the prototype is approved.
2. Shape, color, texture
At this stage, we carefully select materials that are perfect for the idea. Silver, enamel, stones - each element should fit harmoniously into the overall concept.
1. Idea and concept
- It all starts with inspiration. It can be anything: patterns in nature, works of art or or the whimsical geometry of an engineering design.
- Then we look for analogies, study other types of design, analyze ideas.
- When a picture is formed in the head, the most painstaking stage begins - the creation of jewelry sketches. Often, this is the longest process: it is important not only to capture the form, but also to immediately think it in the material, so that the idea can come to life. It goes through several stages, from search sketches to final sketches.
3. 3D modeling
Then the sketch takes shape in a 3D modeling program. At this stage, we create a digital copy of the future jewelry, trying to foresee all the features of the subsequent jewelry production and hone the details with an accuracy of tenths of a millimeter.
